Painful
- My stye feels very painful, bothersome, and tender. I try to avoid light or brightly lit areas to avoid more pain. It feels like there's a bug or large dust particle in my eye. It's not very fun!

- My eye is swollen in the inner corner of my left eye (bottom lid) and it hurts when I blink. It feels like there is a stick INSIDE my eyelid but I don't see a stye. Any ideas? It's just puffy and red and really red on the inside of the lid. I hope this makes sense and you can help me.

- I woke up with a swollen eye and all I can say is it hurts really bad. My eyelid is very fat. Please help me. Those towels make it feel okay then it's back to the pain again. Styes are no fun. They make a good day go bad.

Ouch.
- I got a stye on the left corner of my right eye. Before I got it, I had my makeup on and contacts. I washed it off when I got home. The next morning, I woke up and felt a heavy sharp pain on my eye. I was plucking my eyebrow and this lump on my eye caught my attention in the mirror. I dont know what caused this, if it's the makeup, contacts, or it's clogged. Last night it was irritated and so itchy. I went to the bathroom and used my clean foam wedge to apply warm compress then I noticed a lash hair follicle stuck underneath my eyeball. I took two cotton swabs and eye solution for contacts and used a swab to hold down the skin below my eye. I dipped another swab in a solution and tried to take the hair out and it slipped out. My eye got less irritated and itchy. Not sure if that's what caused my stye but hope it cures now. Note: DONT TOUCH OR ITCH WITH UR FINGER. Put warm compresses 3-4times/day for 10mins. Dont touch or itch it with your finger.

Styes are horrible.....TRUST ME!
- I'm 12 and I've already had two styes in both eyes now. I have one again in the right eye and now all I did was wet tea bags (no sugar or anyrhing) and my eye was so swollen, This should help, as mine went down like three times.

Styes, and what they feel like.
- Styes at the beggining are just a bit red and feel like a bruise when you touch it, except it hurts without touching. They will build up to be swollen, and look like a circular rock in your upper or lower eyelid. It will hurt for a couple of days. Go to the doctor and ask for eyedrops.

- Last night I was fine and then this morning my eye hurt like crazy. It got all puffy and red and it hurt to blink, even if I touched it!

- I woke up the morning with a bruise-like feeling in my bottom left eyelid. I had this a lot of times before, but is it a stye? Please let me know.

My stye
- My stye feels like someone jammed their knuckle right on the edge of my eye socket. My eyes won't stop watering and every time I blink it begins to hurt again, and sunlight kills my eyes now. I just want it to go away! So far the only thing that sort of relieved the pain was a hot, wet towel.

Stye
- I hate when I get it, mostly 4 - 5 times a year, but I think it is because of the makeup . A stye hurts and it makes your eye look nasty with a big red bump on your eyelid. I try to put a warm towel on my eye and that's what works best. Good luck - it will last about 3 days.

- I'm 12 and yesterday I felt like I had a black eye but I didn't see anything so I went to my mom. she said it is a stye and it should go away fast.

Persistant stye
- I''ve had my stye from almost a year now. The weird thing is, it swells only if I take antibiotics for something like a fever or throat ache. The rest of the time it's just a small bump there. I popped it yesterday, when it had that small white dot on the center, and through it a little white fluid came out, but it wasn't as much as most of the people have described. I just hope it doesn't rise from the dead again.

Eye Stye
- I've been getting these since high school. I used to go to the doc. and get those dandy eye drops, but found if you touch the dropper to your eye on accident the infection contaminates the bottle. so looking for a home remedy i learned a damp mint tea bag was the absolute best solution for me. it soothed the pain, and reduced the swelling. do not get sugar on it if your like me and drink the tea you make with the tea bag since sugar tends to feed bacteria, and would potentially worsen the infection.
