Definition: A device used by eye doctors to measure the size of the pupils. The device consists of a large camera tuned for infrared detection and two infrared side lamps for pupil illumination. A doctor can use an infrared pupillometer to measure the size of the pupils under different amounts of light, such as during daylight and during the night.
