Troy Bedinghaus, O.D.

Dr. Troy L. Bedinghaus is a board-certified optometric physician. He owns and operates Lakewood Family Eye Care, a private eye care facility in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Dr. Bedinghaus has practiced in many clinical settings including a large, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice, commercial opticals, primary medical rural health clinics and private optometric practices. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Florida Optometric Association. He also serves as president of the Manasota Optometric Society.

Dr. Bedinghaus graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in biology. He then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he earned his doctorate degree in optometry. He completed externships at St. Luke's Cataract and Laser Institute and Manatee/Sarasota Eye Clinic and Laser Center, both in Florida.

With my strong passion for optometry, I will strive to provide the public with valuable information and resources for total eye health. I believe that eye care is an important part of general health, and keeping your eyes healthy is a lifetime commitment.
