Wednesday March 12, 2008
An average 95.4 percent of LASIK patients are satisfied with their new vision, according to a review of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS). About the same percentage would elect to undergo LASIK again or recommend the procedure to a friend.
Worldwide, 16.3 million patients have had LASIK to correct their eyesight, which is considered one of the most successful elective procedures available today.
