17-month-old Dannielynn Birkhead, daughter of Larry Birkhead and the late Anna Nicole Smith, underwent eye surgery to correct an eye condition. Dannielynn suffers from strabismus, an eye muscle condition in which one or both eyes may turn in, out, up or down. Dannielynn's father reports that his daughter is home and recovering from her surgery.

The following are symptoms of strabismus:

• double vision
• cross-eyed appearance
• poor vision
• eyes that do not fixate on the same point
