In Time for Allergy Season...Pataday is Here!

Sunday March 25, 2007
Alcon Laboratories, makers of Patanol (olopatadine HCL), has just released a new formulation of its ever popular eye allergy drug. Named for its once a day dosage, Pataday is shown to be more effective and just as safe as its predecessor. Pataday is FDA approved to treat both eye itching and redness for patients with eye related allergies.

Hi Troy,
Pataday is the same great drug reformulated for once-a-day dosing. However, it’s official FDA approval is only for itching. Data exists to show it also relieves redness, but this was not part of the FDA official indication awarded to Pataday. Pataday is a great allergy eye drop.
